On January 2, 2024, EPA proposed approval of two revisions to the Arizona SIP.  These revisions include updating the SIP-approved versions of Arizona Administrative Code rules R18-2-101 (Definitions) and R18-2-404 (Offset Standards) to the version currently in state law. These revisions update Arizona’s NSR program to meet EPA standards for areas within ADEQ permitting jurisdiction.  More information is available at the Federal Register website.  EPA is taking comments on the proposed action until February 1, 2024.
